Finishing up 2010...

So 2010 got crazy and I fell off the ball when it came to blogging. I am going to attempt to blog the last few months of 2010 so I can start fresh with 2011...

My last blog was posting Bennett turning 1! I still don't think I have gotten over that one! But moving on... October was a busy month. Lots of Halloween activities and lots of dressing up. Pumpkin Farms, pumpkin patches, costume cruise (which was soooo much fun), and pictures galore...

Thanksgiving was lots of fun with out of town family from Florida. Hayden was the energizer bunny for an entire week trying to keep up with all the boys and finally crashed the day they left. (She literally fell asleep at the dinner table on a plate of food!)

Thanksgiving came and went and it was time to start getting ready for mine and Jesse's first vacation since our honeymoon over 4 years ago! We went to Mexico and had an amazing time (after I had a mini heart attack on the plane worrying about my girls!) My mother-in-law was so amazing for taking care of the girls for a week. I'm pretty sure we owe her a vacation after that one! :)

We quickly got called back to reality when Jesse had to leave a day early and fly back to deal with snow removal in Hampton Roads. Happy Birthday to Jesse (he flew back on his birthday and went straight to work for two days straight.) Then it was Christmas time and all the fun that comes with it. Lots of arts n crafts with Hayden as she loves anything and everything that involves Christmas decorations and a few different trips to see Santa. (Hayden LOVES her "hoho" and Bennett sloooooowly came around.) Boo went from crying and clinging to me at her first attempt, to "allowing" me to stand her NEXT to Santa as she stared at me and refused to crack a smile or even a remotely happy face, to sitting on his lap but REFUSING to look his direction. I am positive she was repeating in her head "it will be over soon it will be over soon!!!" HAHA. I love Christmas time and the magic you see in little ones faces. Hayden is in awe of it all and I can't wait for Boo to be excited next year. Christmas morning was great and both the girls had fun ripping into their presents. Hayden got a Tinkerbell Tent and Sleeping bag that was a huge hit and Boo got a dancing Mickey that she thinks is hilarious. Both parents came over to our house that afternoon and we spent a relaxing day just hanging out. Unfortunately Jesse was preparing for snow and didn't get to enjoy much of Christmas. He then proceeded to work for 48 hours STRAIGHT... coming home once to change into dry clothes for all of 5 minutes. I think it is safe to say his feelings would not be hurt if there was no more snow this winter!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you in 2011!
